OxWiChem Day 2026
OxWiChem Day 2026 celebrates the achievements and research of women in Oxford chemistry, bringing together members of the community across all career stages, from DPhil students and postdoctoral researchers to alumni, early-career fellows, industry professionals, and professors.
This year’s event will take place on 30 October 2026 and will feature an exciting program of speakers, including Ludmilla Steier in inorganic chemistry, Laura L. Kiessling in chemical biology, Catherine Holden representing industry, Ji-Seon Kim in physical chemistry, and Alex Groves, Chief Editor of Nature Synthesis.
The event will highlight outstanding research, foster collaboration, and strengthen support networks across the Oxford Chemistry community and beyond.
We sincerely thank the MPLS Research Culture Fund and Cell Press for their generous support, which makes OxWiChem Day 2026 possible. We also warmly welcome additional sponsors and partners interested in supporting the event and engaging with the research community.
We invite all interested students, postdocs, early-career researchers, PIs, alumni, and industry partners to get involved. Please feel free to email us if you would like to join or support the event.
Join us in celebrating and empowering the vibrant community of women in Oxford Chemistry.
